| N.E.W. Shelter Meal will be Monday, November 7. The signup sheet is now in the narthex for participation and help. We will serve spaghetti, fruit, vegetable, rolls & cupcakes. Containers and recipe are in the drawer below. Thanks for helping us feed our neighbor. Help Martin School get ready for a new school year! There is a continuing need for boy's and girl's elastic-waist pants (sweatpants, etc.), and underwear, all in sizes 5-8. Please put your donations in the cupboard marked for Martin School. Martin is looking for volunteers, especially in the kindergarten rooms. If interested in volunteering call Mary Jo Rabideau at 662-7551. In the Hospital? If you want Pastor Jim to know you are going to be and/or are hospitalized, please be sure to contact the church office, 468-0713. When admitted to the hospital, you will have to tell them to contact Atonement. Even when you tell this to the hospital, sometimes we are called and sometimes we are not. The only way to be sure we know about your hospitalization is for you or a family member to contact us directly. Without your assistance, it is very possible your hospitalization will not be known by Pastor Jim. The Preble Hive now has a washer and dryer and is able to offer laundry services to families in need. The Hive is seeking donations of laundry detergent and fabric softener sheets to support this new outreach. Other items suggested for donation are: personal hygiene items: body wash, soap, shampoo and conditioner – regular size is preferred over the hotel/sample size paper products: toilet paper and paper towels alarm clocks (simple wind-up ones) Donations can be brought to church or dropped off at the Preble office during school hours. The Hive is open to ALL members of the Preble community who are in need. The families and/or individuals do not need to have children who attend Preble. If you know of someone in need, please tell them about this wonderful resource. The Hive is open during school hours and by appointment.
